So, tonight was pretty great. We finished filming almost everything tonight! It wasn't as difficult because Laerke was here so we had our entire group all hands on deck. Tonight's filming session wasn't as long or as difficult as yesterday's.
So yesterday, we left off where Violet storms off. Violet goes up to the french doors and she can see it is blue inside, she stands there confused looking at both of the worlds. She had never seen a blue world and she's angry and confused about what is going on. Violet goes in the blue world and looks around and then steps outside again to see it again. Then, Violet steps inside and forgets to close the door behind her so again she slowly goes outside looks and shuts the door. When violet shuts the door, she looks around one more time and see another article. She reads it and is so confused still.And thats what we filmed yesterday.
We still have to film a scene where Violet looks up from the newspaper and walks up to the doors and look outside and its all blue now. We weren't able to film that because we need two blue lightbulbs and we don't quite have that yet. We will film that on Monday.
The next step in the journey now is editing. I'm excited to edit because last time I found that I really do enjoy editing. Its one of those things that is difficult but I enjoy doing. So I'm super excited to get to play around with all of the clips and put the opening together.
