Welcome to Day 3 (and hopefully the last day of filming)!
The day started in school, where we began to edit in class. We put all of the clips that we thought were best so that I could edit later in the day. This was in second period. By the time fourth period rolled around, I had finished editing the visuals of the film opening. I was impressed at how fast I edited the video and I did a pretty good job at doing so. The editing of the visuals wasn't very difficult to do because over all the shots flowed together well. But my group member viewed the video and they decided it was best to re shoot 4 shots that seemed odd.
We reshot a couple of shots because they were too dark or it seemed like they needed something in between them to make them flow just right. So, I head down to Home Depot quickly before going to Jess's and picked up an extra blue lightbulb that we needed to make the lighting in the blue world be just right.
Here is a before and after picture of the lighting with one blue bulb and then with two.
Before
After
There only a very slight difference but it is
important because it helps further establish the difference between the two worlds.
Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome so far of the visuals of the video. I'm excited to edit the sounds and the background music to the film.
To catch the final edit, Stay tuned,
Isa
